A lovely colleague at work had a baby girl on 3rd June and it was a wonderful opportunity to prime those watercolour brushes again.

My inspiration for these two designs came from a feeling of being light and free and of course my love of nature and all winged creatures. The wombat conversations that ensued while floating through the air on a swing was an easy unfolding and the tiny collection of things on a box display card were all observations from the ‘natural’ environment to match baby Mia’s initials.
It all started with a few sketches and the rest as they say, is history….
